True Legal Consultant is a risk management service provider for doctors and hospitals across India. Our service charges are collected from clients (doctors and hospital members) based on the risk management services promised throughout their membership period. We act as a corporate agent licensed by the IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) to offer indemnity and other risk-related general insurance policies specifically tailored to the needs of medical professionals. We currently provide indemnity policies from insurance companies at rates and schedules set by these insurers. It should be understood that our service fees cover the personalized risk management services we provide as a consultancy, separate from the insurance premium. Payments for risk management coverage extending beyond the membership period will require renewal as a fresh membership. True Legal Consultant assumes no responsibility for any lapses in coverage due to delayed payment beyond the grace period. Any disputes related to such lapses will not be entertained, and True Legal Consultant accepts no liability for non-coverage or any associated losses if payments are made beyond the grace period.
Definitions
For the purposes of this disclaimer, the following definitions apply:
“Payment Gateway” refers to the online facility provided by True Legal Consultant on our website (www.truelegalconsultant.com) for members to pay their membership fees and access risk management coverage. Availability of the payment gateway and services offered will be communicated through our website, email, or official communication channels. Users need access to the Internet to use the Payment Gateway, and True Legal Consultant is not obligated to support all versions of web browsers.
“Personal Information” refers to the user-provided data collected by True Legal Consultant for membership and payment processing.
“Terms” refer to the terms and conditions governing the use of the Payment Gateway.
“User” refers to both prospective and current members who are interested in purchasing or renewing their risk management coverage from True Legal Consultant.
“Membership” signifies the active risk management coverage held by a User with True Legal Consultant.

Applicability of Terms

Sufficient Balance
Users are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds or prearranged credit facilities are available to complete payments via the Payment Gateway. True Legal Consultant accepts no liability for transactions that fail due to insufficient funds or credit.
Accuracy of Information
True Legal Consultant relies on accurate information provided by Users. We bear no liability for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by Users. If an error is noticed, the User should contact us immediately, and we will attempt to correct the error where possible.
Liability of Users and True Legal Consultant
True Legal Consultant and our service providers shall not be liable for unauthorized transactions through the Payment Gateway. Users agree to fully indemnify and hold True Legal Consultant and our service providers harmless against any resulting actions, suits, or damages. Additionally, True Legal Consultant shall not be held liable for any Payment Gateway downtime or inaccessibility due to natural disasters, network issues, legal constraints, or any other reasons beyond our control.
Indemnity
In return for providing Users access to the Payment Gateway, Users agree to indemnify and hold True Legal Consultant and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents harmless against all losses, expenses, and damages that may result from their use of the Payment Gateway or True Legal Consultant’s services.
Disclosure of Information
True Legal Consultant may store and process personal information provided by Users for analysis and payment purposes, and may share this information with institutions or legal entities as required for compliance, fraud prevention, or in response to legal obligations.
Change of Terms
True Legal Consultant reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use our services, Users accept the updated Terms.
Non-Transferability
Access to the Payment Gateway is provided solely to the registered User and is non-transferable.
Termination of Payment Gateway Access
True Legal Consultant may suspend or terminate access to the Payment Gateway at any time, and the User will be responsible for any transactions made before termination.
Notices
Notices from True Legal Consultant will be sent to Users’ last known address or published on our website. Notices are effective upon receipt, seven days after mailing, or upon publication on our website.
Governing Law
These Terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in [Location, e.g., New Delhi].
General
Clause headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of the Terms. True Legal Consultant reserves the right to use agents or contractors in fulfilling our services.
Assignment

Cancellation of Membership
Users have 30 days from receipt of the membership documentation to review the terms. If they disagree with any term, they may cancel the membership within this period for a refund of the premium paid, minus charges for the period covered and administrative costs.
Scope of Services
- Members receive professional indemnity insurance through True Legal Consultant, and all promised services will be provided without additional charges.
- True Legal Consultant will assist in crisis situations by coordinating with medical and legal experts.
- Indemnity coverage advice extends beyond cases covered by insurance to include additional guidance as needed.
- Pre-membership incidents may incur additional fees, but these will be concessional.
- True Legal Consultant provides assistance for cases up to the highest court levels free of cost, irrespective of insurance coverage.
IRDAI Public Notice
Beware of fraudulent offers or calls claiming IRDAI affiliation. IRDAI does not engage in the sale of insurance or financial products, nor does it announce any bonuses. Report fraudulent calls to local authorities.
